Since it isn’t feasible for many of you to make it to the Happiness Paradigm Store and Experience in Maple Corner, here are pictures and prices of some of the items available for sale. The store features work by many other artists, as well as thoughtfully recycled items, especially books. Because that inventory is fluid, the list below is all work that I’ve created myself.

Happy Planet Pins — I started making these pins after attending a climate change workshop. The presenter held up a green heart decal, and explained her view that we should approach our environmental work with love, not hate or fear or blame. I was inspired! These pins are crafted from recycled paper, decorated with various items that friends and neighbors have donated as well as found items from nature. They are@ 2 and 1/2 inches high, coated for greater durability, but not waterproof. $14.00 per pin.

Happy Heart Pins — The heart symbolizes so much that is vital to happiness, especially gratitude, connection with others (ie, love!), and giving from the heart. I make these the same way as I make the green heart pins. And, they are the same price! Imagine that! $14.00 per pin.

Happiness Inspiration Cards — A few posts back, I listed my 18 tips for happiness. Each Happiness Inspiration Card, which is made from recycled paper and pictures from old catalogues, greeting cards, calendars, etc., illustrates one of these 18 tips. They measure @ 3″ by 2″. Each card is $3.00; a boxed set of 10 is $28.oo.

Happiness Greeting Cards — These cards are very similar to the inspiration cards. Each is made from recycled paper, each illustrates one of the 18 happiness tips, and each has pictures culled from old magazines, catalogues, etc. They measure @ 4″ by 9″. Each comes with an envelope, so you can send the card to a friend with your own thoughts. The surface is rough, but writable. Cards are $5.00 each.
Happiness Greeting Cards
Mini Gratitude Journals — I use the same mold to make these journals (our of recycled paper) as I use for the Inspiration Cards, so they are also roughly 3″ by 2″. Each journal has pieces of recycled paper on the inside for jotting down what you are grateful for. This is a wonderful way to raise your happiness level. Mini refers to size, not the amount of gratitude!

Happiness Quotation Magnets — Many of us like our coffee made in Keurig coffee machines yet fret over all those non-recyclable K-cups! I found two uses for mine: I scoop out the used coffee grounds for compost; then clean, cut, and paint the cups. I glue a magnet on the back (leftover from my earlier art years), paste a happiness quotation inside and voila! A very happy and often profound magnet! The quotes I use are all on this site’s quotation page, so you can specify quote if you like. Each magnet, $6.50.
